I-Search: Rubric

To get an A on your I-Search Project, you must have:

• Topic Selection and 5 Interesting Questions
• Research Journal
• 5+ sources, including at least 2 print sources
• Interview questions and answers (or 2 additional sources and notes)
• Notes from sources (print sources, internet sources, interview)
• Completed the entire Writing Workshop Checklist for your final report
• Completed Bibliography for your final report
• Completed and attached the Visual Aids for your final report
• Completed the Title Page and Table of Contents for your final report

To get a B on your I-Search Project, you must have:

• Topic Selection and 5 Interesting Questions
• Research Journal
• 4 sources, including at least 2 print sources
• Notes from sources (print sources, internet sources, interview)
• Completed the entire Writing Workshop Checklist for your final report
• Completed Bibliography for your final report
• Completed and attached the Visual Aids for your final report
• Completed the Title Page and Table of Contents for your final report

To get a C on your I-Search Project, you must have:

• Topic Selection and 5 Interesting Questions
• Research Journal
• 3 sources, including at least 2 print sources
• Notes from sources (print sources, internet sources, interview)
• Partially completed the entire Writing Workshop Checklist for your final report
• Completed Bibliography for your final report
• Completed and attached the Visual Aids for your final report
• Completed the Title Page and Table of Contents for your final report
