Books of the world and the unknown

My list consists of books of my liking. It doesn't really matter what kind of book it is, just as long as its good to read, then you'll find it in my hands. Look below for books, that are in my opinion, really good!

by Invisible cry-An 8th grade girl, who loves to read anything that will relate to reality or at least something that's close, or deals with magic/fantasy.

 Speak, Laurie Halse Anderson

This book talks about a teenage girl who doesn't seem to like her life. Due to the fact that all her friends are mad at her, for no reason. This book always had something interesting coming up next. I really liked it.

Everworld: Search for Senna, K.A. Applegate

A fantasy book. It has some violence, but can be very funny at times. It talks about four people that enter Everworld, in search of a friend who got sucked into another world by a god.

Everworld: Enter the Enchanted, K. A. Applegate

This book is the third book of the Everworld series. Everytime you read another book, there is always a different narrator to it. As in, a different perspective from everyone that went into Everworld. It talks about a wizard, Merlin, that these 4 people come upon. They become friends with him, and they find Senna. Until they find out that she is something that they've known all along.

 Someone Like You, Sarah Dessen

This book is really cool. It's another one of those reality books where you can relate to your life or someone elses. This book teaches you about life and friends. It talks about two best friends. One of them gets pregnant and the other one gets lost in the world of love.

Big Mouth & Ugly Girl,Joyce Carol Oates

This book talks about a girl who is "ugly" and a boy who has a big mouth. One day something bad happens and everything goes wrong. If you really do read this, you would probably understand what "beauty is beneath the skin" means.

A Little Princess, Frances Hodgeson Burnett

It's a very sad story about a girl who looses her father when she goes off to boarding school. When she finds out that her father has passed away, she has no idea what to do.

 Princess in Love, Meg Cabot

Its a diary/romance book. It talks about a girl, who just found out that she's a princess, and she's in love with her best friend's brother.

Just Ella, Margaret Peterson Haddix

A longer version of Cinderella. It's just that the story makes more sense, it's more like a romance book. It takes place in the medieval times.

You Shouldn't Have to Say Good-Bye, Patricia Hermes

This is about a girl who is about to have a huge turn in her life, because of her mother. She feels like she doesn't need to live any more and doesn't understand a lot of things in her life that's happening right now.

The Secret Garden, Frances Hodgson Burnett

I read this book over the summer. It was a great book. It's like a never ending story about a garden that has been hidden forever until a little girl comes by and looks for it and finds it.
