Cool Books That Are Suspenseful & Interesting

By a school student who wants to move away to see the whole world.

These are the 10 books on my list that are educational, fun, and great to read.

1.  Alligators in the Sewer and 222 Other Legends by Thomas J. Craughwell. Over 200 stories about strange and bizarre things such as spooky monster legends, sad and deadly events, and funny but weird stories.

 2.  Purrfectly Purrfect: Life at the Acatemy by Patricia Lauber. A school academy where cats can learn their own feline subjects such as math, history, science, and more, puurrfectly.

 3.  Exploding Ants: Amazing Facts about how Animals Adapt by Joanne Settel. Did you know honey ants store honey in their stomachs for storage? Weird facts about animals and insects on how they they live and survive danger.

4. D'Aulaires' Book of Roman Myths by Edith Hamilton. Myths about gods, godesses, and fantasy creatures around ancient Greek and Rome in Mount Olympus.

5.  The Hobbit by J.R.R. Toikien. The book starts about the hobbit Bilbo who goes on an adventure and finds the One Ring.

6.  A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket #1:The Bad Beginning After the fire in their mansion burned everything and killed their parents, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny must be sent to Count Olaf who plans to steal their family fortune.

7.  #2: The Reptile Room After escaping from Count Olaf who didn't get their fortune, the orphans  must live with their Uncle Monty, but soon more unlucky events happen.

8.  #7: The Vile Village Based on the saying "It takes a village to raise a child," the Baudelaires end up being adopted by an entire village.

9.  #8: The Hostile Hospital After escaping the village they walked to a hospital where Count Olaf and his helpers are working undercover.

10.  #9: The Carnivorous Carnival The orphans follows Count Olaf and his troops into a carnival and finds someone there can help them find which of their parents survived the fire and where he or she is.
