Introduction- As I was to pick a topic for my I-Search I picked ocean life because the ocean is big and full of mysteries and adventures and that made me want to do my I-Search on ocean life. That made me want to learn more about ocean life and its ocean. The ocean is full of things that I can learn and know about. Maybe one day there might be some kind of sea creature or plants that can cure dieases that we have today. The ocean is full of adventure and maybe one day I will search the seven seas.

How did ocean life begin?

Life on Earth began in tiny metal spheres in rocks thousands of feet under the ocean a new theory claims. Ocean life began in the ocean billions of years. This happen maybe because of bacteria that started to form and ocean life began. Humans found out by probably doing research.

Why is the ocean so cold?

The ocean is probably so cold because of the Antarctic ice. The ocean started by melting ice billion of years ago so that's why the ocean is probably so cold. The ocean is also cold because of the Antarctica ice in the South and North Pole region and melting ice melts everyday and spreads everyday in the ocean.

How much water does the ocean have?

Oceans cover more than 75 percent of the earth's surface or about 361 million sq km (140 million sq mi). Its average depth is 5,000 m (16,000 ft), and its total volume is about 1,347,000,000 cu km (322,300,000 cu mi).The different oceans merge into one another forming the largest habitat on earth. The land that we cover up is about 25 percent that's a little land. Compare land to water the ocean is much more bigger than land.

Why is the ocean salty?

The ocean is probably salty because of ocean floor and melting ice and organism that live in the ocean that cause the ocean to be salty. The ocean is salty because of sodium and other elements that make the ocean floor salty. The ocean looks like is pure blue and that you should drink it but you shouldn't because it's not good for you and it's not water that we drink it's different kind of water that people shouldn't drink.

How long has the ocean been around?

The ocean has been around for billions of years and yet the ocean has 9 million of species yet to be found because the ocean is so big and plus it has been here on earth for billions of years. The ocean has been here since the earth was born so that ocean has been here as same as the earth's time so the ocean must have been here for a long long long time and the ocean is still here today after all the things that have been happened during the billions of years of ocean life.

Conclusion- My topic for the I-Search is about ocean life. I'd picked this topic because I was fascinate by the ocean beacause it's so big and full of water and has so many organism's in the ocean floor and there is so much to learn and yet to be discovered on the ocean floor so I picked it because the ocean is big and has trillion and trillion of tons of water man...that's a lot.

Last Friday we did an I-Search on cars and ocean life. Then we looked at the public library to find sources. Then I got some imformation.

Today I made a link to my home page and then I got confused on what i was suppose to put on my I-search notes. Later on I finally got it and I know what I suppose now.

Today was a good day I got some articles about ocean life and I'm back on track. YEAH BABY!!! So I read the article and did re-tell and got some work done.

Today I read the articles and I re-tell it in my own words and did some research about ocean. I have some trouble on reading the challenging words that I don't know but I figured it out.

Today I went to the SPEL website and got some more articles abouts ocean and did read and retell with Kevin. I read it and I moved the window and retell what I read and I helped Kevin with his. Then he type it on the computer.

Today I got most of my work done. I read and and retold to the computer. I'm almost close to being done but I have a lot more to do read and re-tell to do. But I'm getting there.

Today I made a link for the checklist for our new link called the I-Search Checklist. That's about it my Tony helped me to make the link because I forgot how to make one. Later I started on my work.

Today was a good day for me because I'm almost finish with my stuff. I read the articles and it talks about the ocean and stuff. I got better at it read and re-tell the articles. I'm almost done.

Today I worked on my I-Search notes and I'm almost done with it. I didn't look up for any research's because I already had a lot of imformation. I was glad that I'm almost done with everything and hope to move on soon to another topic.

Today I was looking at some internet sources for my questions. I looked at google and instead of finding internet sources I found pictures. Today I tired to find some internet sources but I couldn't find any I only found one that answered my question.

Today I made a link to my bibiography with Tony's help because I forgot and Tony Man help me and I finish with making the link and I got some internet sources for the bibiography. I still need to finish answering my questions for my five questions for ocean life.

Today I was looking for some internet sources for my question and I could'nt find any. So I just keep on looking for sources and see if it can answer my question.

Today I made a link to my I-Search Interview and the computer wouldn't post changes I did it couple of times before it worked. Today was a short day and I didn't get enough of my work done.

Today I got some more internet sources and I got confused because I still didn't know what I was suppose to do. So today was a boring day but I'll finish more work tomorrow.

Today I was typing an introduction for I-Search Map to let people know about my topic and what my topic is about. Today I understoodall of the instructions and I got to work.

Today I worked on my I-Search to get some imformation about ocean life. I also made a link called I-Search Report and I got a lot of imformation about ocean life and i'm almost done.

To was a bad day because my I-Search notes and my other stuff was lost and I had to wait for a along time so Mr.Delany can help me fix the problem and that wasted a lot of time and I didn't get any work done. MAN!!!

Today I got back all my imformation and I'm almost finish and I was happy and got some great pictures about my ocean life and everything is a.o.k and everything is going smoothly and great.

Today I finished most of my revision conference and finish mostly everything. Today the computers are a lot more faster and quicker and I was flattered. Today is a good day and I'm almost done with all my work and I'm proud.

Today I finished my revision conference with Tony but Ms.Turnbull told me not to write in my journal today because Tony and I was working hard on our revision conference. But I did it so I can get credit. So today was a fast day everything was over so fast and quick when you are working hard. It's all over working with the I-Search it's been fun and cool. Everything was a.o.k excepted for the computers because the computers were too too too slow but it's all good you know what I mean. PEACE OUT!!!
