Introduction

What does a resident say when you ask him/her what is the best thing to see while in the twin city of Minneapolis? No doubt their anwser will be the big ticket, Kevin Garnett. He was a runner up for the mvp award, so that should tell you that he's not an ordinary guy.He led his team to the playoffs, carrying them on his back. That is one of the hardest things to do. Find out more about the impossible things this man has done!

(DUNKADELIC) ^

How did he come to the NBA?

Kevin Garnett came into the NBA right out of high school. He showed that he could survive in this league at  younger age than others. During his highschool basketball days he was the best scorer, rebounder, and passer in possibly all of the highschool basketball teams.

How did he get along with his new teammates on the minnesota timberwolves?

Kevin Garnett tries hard to not let his teammates down and never gets mad at his teammates for mistakes like missed shots or bad turnovers. He talks to his teammates about how they can go differently instead of thinking in the past about bad things and that really helps his teammates' motivation.

Why did he decide to go directly to the NBA after highschool?

Kevin Garnett decided to come into the NBA directly from high school because he felt himself to be ready for anything that went his way in the league. He proved himself worthy in his first season as a rookie and was named the rookie of the year  after playing through his first ever NBA season.

How did he become one of the top 10 players in the NBA?

He fought hard during every one of his seasons to lead his team to victory and never let his fame get the best of him.   He always contributed to his teammates in every way he could. He also never lost faith in his teammates and always trusted them to make the shots or the right passes.

How did he earn the respect of his teammates?

Through his leadership and focus in every game he played, he earned the respect of his teammates by being part of the team.He let his teammates get the spot light knowing that he wasn't the one that was always going to be the best in every game. He also kept in mind that his teammates depended on him to take the right shots or make the right passes at the right time; in other words, his teammates trusted him enough to trust his leadership.

Kevin Garnett was the best player in his highschool season. He averaged 25.2 points, 17.9 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 6.5 blocks while shooting .666 from the field.Kevin Garnett played four years of high school basketball building up a grand total of 2,533 points, 1,807 rebounds and 739 blocked shots throughout his four years of high school. Mr. Basketball wasn't the only honor, the future star was also named the Most Outstanding Player at the McDonald's All-America Game.In his 7th season he was averaging 21.2 ppg, a career-high 12.1 rpg and a career-high 5.2 apg.It marked the third straight season he'd tallied 20/10/5, making him just the fifth player in NBA/ABA history to accomplish that feat.Named to the NBA All-League Second Team, NBA All-Defensive First Team, and All-Interview First Team.Kevin Garnett posted a franchise-record 59 point/rebound double-doubles, finishing second in the NBA in that category; he also ranked third in rebounding and first among forwards in assists. His 981 boards are a club single-season record, breaking his own mark of 956 (1999-2000).He notched his second triple-double of the season (sixth of his career) on 2/28/01 vs. Detroit (18 pts/10 reb/10 ast).

Garnett was named National High School Player of the Year by USA Today and was selected to the Parade magazine All-America First Team after leading Farragut to a 28-2 mark and the Class AA state quarterfinals. He was named Mr. Basketball for the State of Illinois after averaging 25.2 points, 17.9 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 6.5 blocks while shooting .666 from the field. He previously had been named Mr. Basketball for the State of South Carolina as a junior in 1994. Garnett, whose four-year high school basketball totals included 2,533 points, 1,807 rebounds and 739 blocked shots, was named the Most Outstanding Player at the McDonald's All-America Game after registering 18 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocked shots.

While i did this I-search i found out a lot of things i never knew about Kevin Garnett.I always thought that he was just another of the greatest basketball players in the game. But then i found out more and i found out that it was more than that.It was about all the impossible things he did and the way he led the t-wolves to victory.
